Shelly M. Loppnow 42; of New Albany Funeral services for Shelly M. Loppnow, 42, of New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Grace Lutheran Church, New Albany, with cremation to follow. She died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at her home. She was a native of Zanesville, Ohio and a supervisor at Payne-Sparkman Mfg. Inc. in New Albany. She was a Girl Scout Leader for troop 1148 and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, New Albany, where she was a Sunday school teacher, a mid-week Parish education night teacher, and a Vacation Bible School teacher. Survivors include her husband, Brian Loppnow; three children, Mathew, Jacob and Tabatha Loppnow; her parents, Patricia and Sheldon Knox; a sister, Susan Huber and husband, Bob; a brother, Mike Knox and wife, Crissy; her mother and father-in-law, Serene and Henry Loppnow; two nieces and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Forrest Streley. Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 and after 9:30 am Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Grace Lutheran Love Offering Fund.
