Shelly Leanne Simpson, age 47, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at her residence in Hayward, WI. She was born January 23, 1969 in Hennepin, Minnesota.
Shelly moved from Stillwater, MN to Minong, WI in 1979, where she finished school. She worked as a babysitter from age 11 and later worked as a caregiver for supportive in-home care. Shelly had many loves, including movies, Mayonaise, puppies and kittens, and especially her tall white poodle named Dusty.
Shelly leaves behind her boyfriend of over 16 years, Robert "Sam" Paulson and many dear friends.
Shelly is preceded in death by her two children; and her parents, Kenneth and Virginia (Smith) Simpson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Spooner Cemetery.

Shelly had a friendly and cheerful nature, and a heart for Jesus even in the tough times. I enjoyed her friendship for a short time- but admired her.
