Sheree Morris Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 20, 2023.
Sheree Lynn Morris, known affectionately as Sheree to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2023, in Wilmington, Ohio, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on February 11, 1961, in Hammond Indiana, and raised during her formative years in South Haven Indiana. Sheree later moved to Ohio and in her final years settled in Hillsboro Ohio.

Sheree was also diagnosed with MS in her early 50's but never let this conquer her zest for enjoying life. She mostly took care of herself with little assistance from others.

For those who knew Sheree, they would often comment about her sincere kindness and generosity. She would often give to others more than she could really afford. She was known for having a big heart for others.

Sheree was a fun loving and a great person to be around, always making jokes and laughing at your jokes. Sheree was a lover of the countryside, where she felt most at home. Her affinity for rural living was matched only by her love for her farm animals. She kept many pets over the years, each becoming a cherished member of her family and of great pride to her.

Sheree leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her two brothers Larry Morris and Cameron Morris. Sheree has three Nephews: Justin, Adam and Nate, two Nieces: Jessica and Abbey, and three Great Nieces: Rowan, Hazel and Adeliene. She was preceded in death by her parents Larry Myles Morris Sr and Rae Dawn Morris. Sheree was also married for 22 years during her early years but later divorced.

As we say goodbye to Sheree, we honor the impact she had on all of us. Her kindness will be remembered as a guiding light, and her loving nature will be deeply missed. We look forward to meeting her again someday where there is no more sorrow or pain, but only Great Love and compassion!

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
