Sherman Richardson Obituary
Age 63, of North Strabane Twp., died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 9, 2007. He was born on October 4, 1943, a son of Sherman W. and Victoria Gartner Richardson. Sherman was an avid fisherman, hunter, and spent much time outdoors. He worked as a Water Quality Specialist with the PA Department of Environmental Protection out of the California District Office. Sherman derived great satisfaction from his job. Surviving is a sister, Diana, of Naples, FL, and Carolyn Menard of St. Clairsville, OH, his loving companion of 9 years. Sherman and Carolyn recently spent 3 weeks in Switzerland visiting Diana, who has been living there on an extended stay. Together with Diana's friend, Bob, the foursome traveled around several countries in Europe, the highlight for Sherman being a trip through the Swiss Alps on an excursion train. Friends will be received on Friday from 10am until time of services at 11am at BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211). Interment will be private.
