Sheron Howard
January 1, 1949 - September 14, 2021
Ceres, California - Sheron, 2022 Howard was born on January 1, 1949, as the first New Year's baby in Sutter County, Yuba City, Ca., to proud parents Lucille and Ted Kemp. After graduating from Yuba City High School in 1967, Sheron passed her State Boards and became a Licensed Cosmetologist.
In January 1968, she met and married the love of her life, Wayne Howard, a Stockton native who had just returned home from Viet Nam. Their relationship blossomed and they were married on August 10, 1968. Their 52-year marriage brought two wonderful children, Jeff and Carie. In 1988, the family relocated from Yuba City to Ceres, Ca, to a beautiful home where they created many memories with family & friends. Sheron was a talented hairdresser, homemaker, cook, and social organizer. She worked at Blue Shield in Marysville, Ca., for several years where she made many great friends while putting her organizational skills to work. She would later work side by side with her husband Wayne, building homes across the Central Valley.
Sheron passed peacefully on September 14, 2021, surrounded by family and her close friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ted and Lucille Kemp, sister Shirley Meyer, and brother Mark Kemp. She is survived by her husband Wayne Howard, daughter Carie Howard (David), son Jeffrey Howard (Christina), granddaughters Taylor Hoach (Kenny), Anna Howard, Kahlynn Jackson, grandson Ryan Howard (Lyndsey), great-grandson Asher Hoach, great-granddaughter Dylan Hoach, brother Jerry Kemp, and Sophie, her loyal furry companion. Our hearts ache terribly from missing her, but we will carry on her memory in everything that we do. She leaves behind a legacy of supportive family and friends, and her faith in God that she imparted to us all.
Please join our family in celebrating Sheron's life & legacy on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, at 2:00pm: Las Casitas Mobile Home Park (Clubhouse), 2841 Fowler Rd in Ceres, Ca 95307.
