Sherry and I were very close decades ago when we worked together at Foreign Affairs. She was a sister to me back then... she was by my side when my mother passed, and moved people so much at Mom's funeral that she made others cry. We haven't been in touch for years unfortunately, but that is how life goes sometimes. Tina and Gord, my deepest sympathies on your loss but I know my Mom greeted her with open arms as did my brother, sister and nephews that she loved so much. Rest in peace my dear friend, you've earned it.
