EDEN — Shirell "Sherry" DeHart Gauldin, 59, of 125 Chestnut St., Eden passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery.
Sherry was born on January 7,1951in Rockingham County. to the late Raymond Ivory and Roena Mabes DeHart. . She was a lifelong employee and manager for McBride Concessions. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Gauldin and a sister; Lula Faye Hall .
She is survived by her son; Seth Gray Ramsey of Eden, sisters; Sandra D. Ratliff of Eden, and Ginger D. Goins of Reidsville, "Loving Aunt" Judy Barker and "Best Friend" Bettie McBride both of Eden and her sheltie whom she knew as her "Special Angel", Mattie Lee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. The service for Sherry was beautiful. May God comfort and sustain you during this difficult grieving period. She will be missed by so many.
