Sherry Jones Obituary
A public service will be held at a later date. Sherry's life will be privately commemorated by those who knew her best.
Sherry is survived by her husband, A.J. Jones; her children, Talon Jones (wife Danielle), Amanda Jones, Echo Jones; her cherished grandchildren, Austin, Nicklas, Jessy, Zay, Peyton, Owen, and Lainey. She also leaves behind her brothers Tim Kier (wife- Kimberly), brother, Mick Kier (wife-Melody). And many nieces and nephews. Sherry's family was the cornerstone of her life, providing her with endless pride and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Jones, and nephews, Hanky Kier and Chad Kier, as well as her father-in-law, Manson Jones. Mother, Arlene Sharp. Stepfather, Butch Sharp.
Sherry's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and devotion that will be cherished by her friends and family.
Sherry was a fiercely loving and supportive wife and mother. Her warm energy touched everyone she met.
She was an artist who created dollhouses, Christmas angels and animal farm magnets.
Many years she spent tending to livestock on the Jones' family farm in St. Francis, KS. All her animals were treated with love and respect. Something all could regale on Sherry is her unbelievable work ethic.
In addition to her artistic talents and love for animals, Sherry exceled in gardening and establishing her hummingbird habitat. One of her favorite parts of the day was sitting on the front porch and watching them before bed.
Above all else Sherry valued family - nothing in life brought her more joy than her children and grandchildren. As well as the wonderful 39 years she got to spend with her true love.
She will be missed more than words can say.
As we mourn, we ask you to remember her as the incredible woman she was.

I had gotten my first job as a laundry attendant at Praire Band Casino. At first I was nervous and anxious, had a lot to learn. Sherry understood that and gave me the time to develop myself. She started telling me positive things about how hardworking I was and it really changed my experience there. Then we would have these interesting conversations about random topics and what was going on in our lives. I will forever cherish these moments and may she rest peacefully.

Sherry was in my class of `80. I remember her as one of the sweetest, kind and soft spoken. I´m sure her family will miss her dearly. Bless you all

November 26, 1980 Sherri and I were cruising main. We ended up talking to some guys from Hitchcock County. One of them is my husband. I wouldn´t have met him if it wasn´t for Sherri.

True friend who had your back. I enjoyed working with her. She always looked forward to sheep dropping in the spring. Light up when she talk about her husband, kids and grandkids. I will miss you.

I first remember meeting aunt Sherry when I was a young boy on her farm during a family vacation. She was a very loving person that will be missed in this world, but never forgotten. May heaven rejoice to have such a wonderful new member.
