Sherry Lyons Obituary
Sherry Ann Lyons, beloved and dearly missed, 60, passed away October 13, 2019. She is survived by her mother, Margene Lyons; father, David William Lyons Sr.; brother, David William Lyons Jr. (Maria); sister, Tonya Lee Brown (Ronald); aunts, Betty Evans, Barbara Long (Jimmy) and Odell Pearl of Cincinnati; a hosts of nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at 1 pm at Eastlawn Cemetery, 1340 Woodland Ave., Columbus, OH 43219. Arrangements by WHITE'S FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 867 S. I am so very sad to learn of the passing of my cousin. So many fond memories of you growing up. You would have me singing Minnie Riperton's Lovin' You and try to hit those high notes LOL. Coming over and you'd perm my hair & that very special hair cut that you gave me in 8th grade that traumatized me hahahahaha..
Really wished I had seen and talked with you more. Love you forever.

Im stunned and heavy-hearted. I have so many memories of hanging out with my big cousin who in my youth served as my hairdresser, vocal coach, and fashion coach, and confidante. Sherry introduced me to music; Prince, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Coke Eskovedo, Natalie Cole, and Rufus, featuring Chaka Khan...you were the embodiment of the music and the fashion you so endearingly lavished in. I will miss you my beloved cousin... rest peacefully and tell my Momma (Beverly) that I miss her.
