Sherry Snelson Obituary
Sherry was born on August 23, 1962 in Rolla, MO to John Meurer, Jr. and Catherine (Seiber) Meurer. Sherry and Walter Snelson were united in marriage in August 1989 in Las Vegas, NV.
Sherry liked reading books, walking, going on hikes and exercising, especially going on a 7 1/2 mile walk with her sisters every Sunday afternoon. She loved watching her son play softball and her sons show animals. She was a member of the Greentree Christian Church. She loved her job, especially working with her Phelps County Bank Family for 32 years. Most of all she loved spending time on the farm and being with her family.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father-in- law, Ray Snelson, a brother-n-law, James Davis, and aunt and uncles.
Sherry is survived by her husband Walter Snelson of Rolla, her parents, John and Catherine Meurer of St. James, three sons, Clint Snelson, Chad Snelson both of Rolla, and Jay Snelson and wife Audra of Twinsburg, Ohio, one daughter, Tiffani Deitrick and husband Adam of Lakewood, OH, three grandchildren Gia and Cole Deitrick, and Blake Snelson, a brother John Meurer, III and wife Stephanie of St. James, three sisters, Sally Davis of Camdenton, MO, Debbie Meurer of St. James, and Linda Ray and husband Jerry of St. James, mother in law, Ann Snelson of Rolla, brothers-n-law and sisters-n-law, Stanley Snelson and wife Vicki of Rolla, Mark Snelson and wife Courtney of St. James, and Sue Ann Drechsler and husband Terry of Batesville, AR, and all of her Phelps County Bank Family.
A memorial service for Sherry Snelson will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Greentree Christian Church of Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 3 p.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Greentree Christian Church.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home of Rolla.
