Sherry VACHON

VACHON _Sherry Anne, age 36 years. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces her passing. Sherry was born May 16, 1968 in Wakaw, SK to Ben and Mary Nagy. Her growing years were spent fondly on the farm and she took her schooling in Wakaw. After high school, Sherry attended university attaining her Bachelor of Education majoring in Religious Studies, Math and French. After teaching for a short time, Sherry became a full time mother devoting her time to her family. Sherry's great love for her children was evident by anyone who witnessed her life. Her life on earth was Love in motion serving God, family and church. She was involved in children's liturgy, preparation for Baptisms, the Elizabethan Society and had a devotion to the Mission of Oblates. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory are her husband, Charles; her eight children, Gisele, Joanne, Jean, Thomas, Patrick, Catherine, Pauline and Timothy; her parents, Ben and Mary Nagy, Wakaw, SK; her brother, Larry (Sandra), Nagy, Vonda, SK and their sons, Andrew and James; her sister, Laurie Nagy, Wakaw, SK and her children, Mandy, Eric and Brendan; her grandmother, Esther Nagy, Wakaw, SK; her parents-in-law, Eugene and Dolores Vachon, Duck Lake, SK; her brothers-in-law, Denis (Melinda) Vachon, Calgary, AB and their children, Manorie, Matteo, Malana and Mykylla; Jacques (Anetka) Vachon, Poland; her sister-in-law, Michele (Collin) Fiolleau, Duck Lake, SK and their children, Guy and Julie; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, John Nagy; Frank and Hafia Osolinsky. The Vigil of Prayer will be held Thursday, June 3, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Matthew on Friday, June 4, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be held from St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Wakaw, SK. Interment will take place at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Cemetery, Wakaw, SK. A Trust Fund for the children has been set up at the Wakaw Branch of the Prince Albert Credit Union. If friends so wish, donations to the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate would be graciously accepted by the family.
