Shiloh Theriault Obituary

Published by Billings Gazette on Apr. 17, 2006.
HARLOWTON - Shiloh Jean Theriault entered this world on March 8, 1990, into the loving arms of her parents, Bill and Lorna Theriault of Harlowton. She passed away April 14, 2006, in Billings following a tragic car/pedestrian accident.
Shiloh was a wonderfully precious girl; she had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially her cats and horses. She was an avid sport participant and played softball, soccer, volleyball, and track; but her true passion was for playing basketball. She was a faithful fan of the St. Louis Rams football team and knew each player by heart. She was proud to be chosen as the Harlo Rodeo Queen in 2005 and she was currently president of her sophomore class at Harlowton High School.
Shiloh leaves behind her grieving parents, her beloved older sister, Kendall, her cherished younger brother, Cahill, and grandmother, Mary Griffith, all of Harlowton; grandfather, Julian Theriault of White Sulphur Springs, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was a friend to all and had a smile that would light up the room. We all love you so much Shortcake; you leave a void in all our hearts that will never be filled.
Funeral services are scheduled at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at the Harlowton High School gymnasium. Internment will follow at the Harlowton Cemetery. Perkins Funeral Home of Harlowton is in charge of the services.

Shiloh, I wasn't able to write in this for a long time, but i really wanted to. i would like to say that you are never forgotten, and will never be forgotten. Shiloh, your loss effected the whole community, plus some...i mean people that weren't even close with you, seemed to be close with you after it happend. It is a sad deal when it takes a disaster like this one to wake a communtity up, but we all miss you and love you. As your birthday approaches, i would like to say Happy Birthday, I hope your doing well in heaven, and i can't wait to see you again. i know this is a hard time for your family, and of course it would be, but i hope that this brings joy to their heart knowing how much you were and still are loved by all. i love you Shiloh, you are a sweetheart that brings absolute beauty into this world, and fills many lives with an unexpressable presence of joy and recollection of your life. I miss you so much, and will remember you always. hang tight up there, we'll be seeing you!

~Alanna Jo

P.S. My prayers go out to the family, strength you need will be present whenever you feel you can handle it. Take care, and may the Lord bless you and keep you!

People havent signed this guestbook for a long time so I am going to sign it,
Shiloh, you were a very good friend to us, though I rarely talked to you, I still knew you and I still loved you as a friend. I wish that God wouldn't have taken you, I would take your spot if I could but I can't. I have a picture of you and I hung it up by my bed, so right before I go to sleep, I look at it and it makes me feel better a little, though sometimes it may make me cry. I want to go see your grave again so I can see how many people care for you and what it looks like. I went in July and for some reason I thought you were right there beside me when I was there. I felt a cool breeze as I sat there and cried. I thought it might have been you. See you soon.

i can not even begin to know what you are going through. I had know shiloh since she was 7, and in that time she became one of my best friends. Whenever i was with Shiloh we were always laughing, i loved her dearly. I always had fun with her, whether we were shooting hoops, or just sitting around watching friends, or going to a football game, she was a great joy in life. I pray for your whole family. Shiloh will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss I never new Shiloh that well I've only met or said hi to her at basketball games and from what it sounds like she was the most amazing person that you could ever be around and she lit up everybodies world. I am so sorry and I have grown even closer to the ones I love and I have learned to spend each and everyday as it was your last because you never now when things might just end. Everybody is feeling your grief and I hope that when you always think about Shiloh always think positive and good memories never bad because remembering bad doesn't get you any closer or any better. Like everyone always says "God picks the best ones first". so my simpathy is with you at this time and always know that everyone is together in this and you are not alone.I am so very sorry

I can not begin to express the sympathy I feel towards your family. There are no words to make this better, but the memories I have with Shiloh in basketball are some of the best that I will ever have. I enjoyed being around her so much, even if it was sitting on the end of the bench! She had the most amazing spirit towards life and her smile could make a bad day better.
