1937-2009
MOREHEAD – Shirley Razor Binion, 71, of U.S. 60 West passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2009 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.She was born on November 30, 1937 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Claude S. and Alma Highley Razor.Mrs. Binion was retired clerk having worked at Battson Drug and Rite Aid. She was a member of the Mud Lick First Church of God and enjoyed reading, going to church and Southern Gospel Music.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Binion who passed away on March 28, 1997 and one sister, Sharon Sue Razor James.Survivors include two aunts, Louise Razor of Hillsboro and Odie Razor of Mooreland, Indiana, two uncles, John Paul Highley and Robert E. Highley both of Salt Lick, two step-children, Greg Binion of Salt Lick and Debbie Bates of Salvisa and several cousins.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Slaty Point Cemetery. Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.Pallbearers will be Matthew Vincent, Jordan Snedegar, Jacob Snedegar, Greg Binion, Bernard McGuire, Jay Brown, Eddie Sluss and Willie Hankinson.To view the online memorial and sign the guest book, please visit www.lanestuckygray.com.
