Shirley Bird Obituary

Shirley Bird, 68, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
She was born March 10, 1947 in Wendell, Idaho the daughter of Wilbur L. Miller and Margaret Ogden Miller.
She had lived in Hawaii, moved to Pocatello in 1966 and lived in Arbon Valley on a ranch. Six years ago she moved to Blackfoot.
In 1965, she married Charles Orville Bird Sr. in Hawaii while he was in the service. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Abate Motorcycle Club.
Shirley worked for Idaho Gem and Golden Gem potato processing plant for over 20 years.
She enjoyed fishing and was an animal lover, always nursing animals back to health. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband.
She is survived by her children, Charles Orville (Kim) Bird, Jr. of Riverton, WY, Cody Reid (Sara) Bird of Portland, Oregon and Holly (Thad) Clark of Blackfoot; brother, Paul Miller of Chubbuck; sister, Dixie (Monty) Lind of American Falls; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ricky; and sisters, Ruby Anderson and Joyce Deppe.
No funeral services will be held at this time. Cremation will take place under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
