Shirley Blaney

I met Shirley about 10 years ago while visiting with Kevin at Pearl and Grants. Though I had just met her , her kindness and laughter stuck with me. To all family and friends alike who knew her well, I would like to say " If the company and family she surrounded herself with is any indication of the women she was then she was as wonderful as it gets." Shirley was my aunt and we had the opportunity to spend many afternoons enjoying the comfort and serenity at her sisters home, Pearl. Whenever I picked Shirley up from a hospital or her nursing home she always greeted me with a warm and beautiful smile and an air of appreciation. I will miss my aunt a great deal and hope she is finding comfort and peace with God. I love you Shirley. Kevin, her nephew (Virginia Beach, Va.)
