My dear friend, you´re never forgotten remembering too that we shared birthdays one day apart. I never forget our fun times together, as well as our heartfelt talks. All those moments were wonderful and are made even more special today. Rest In Peace, Shirley, and May God bless your loved ones today and always.

Shirley I see a new 2021 entry. So I´m adding another. I always think of you and your card calling me sister, the bracelet to the moon and back about love. I have developed kidney disease and heart failure. It won´t be that long till we finally talk up a storm in heaven like we did here sharing the same cancer. I pray your family is well all the time. I wonder a lot what Brooklyn and Cody look like. See you in a couple years my lovely lady. Amy

Dear Shirleys family, I got this in my email today. I am Amy Tartenaar her newest best friend whom she called me a sister as we talked so much about the same type cancer. I miss my Shirley and think about her so very much often and always. I look at her picture a lot. I have found my kidneys should give out around age 74. Im 65 since April. I am not qualified for help but have thought of people Ill see including Shirley. Please know, she was a class act lady, wife, mother, grandmother. I think about Brooklyn and Cody as well. She truly was taken too soon and I was not only heart broken but felt robbed as the world needs people like her. I will love her for eternity.

I am so sorry for the loss of the Dishner and Palmer families. Shirley was a part of my childhood memories of spending time with the Palmer family during holidays and summer vacations. She was fun to be around and always seemed to take a real interest in what the other person was interested in. Both families will be and have been in my prayers.

We can not say thank you enough for all the kind words. We are in the process of gathering as much information from everyone's condolences, so that we may take a moment and respond to as many people as possible. Our most sincere apologies, if we did not get a chance to give you a hug or handshake the past few days at the services. We are overwhelmed with the tremendous amount of people that showed up. Thank you all very much!

Well Tex, I just got the shock you are gone. Brandi is going to call me. It was just such short time ago we talked. We became what we called best long distance friends having shared the same heath at the same time exactly. So many things we talked about so seriously and yet so many times you and I laughed so hard. I have the bracelet you sent me and some where is the necklace I sent you with your favorite saying on it, "To the moon". We were suppose to share our lives forever and had plans some day to actually meet in person. I cherish the pictures you sent and I know how extremely much you loved your family! We loved each other and I can't believe I will not hear that beautiful voice on the phone again. I love you! You live in my heart! Amy, Topeka Ks.

I have so many fond memories of Shirley. We worked together for many, many years way back when we were much younger. I remember attending her and Dave's wedding - such a happy day for her. We also worked together during our pregnancies - another happy time. I will always consider her a friend and am very saddened by her passing. She was indeed a very strong and caring woman. My condolences to her family who she adored. God bless you all.
