As I wrote before...Mrs English (never could call her Shirley) was a woman I had great admiration for growing up. She gave me a safe haven, one I deeply appreciated and cherished. Her passing saddens me, however she left an imprint to everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on her grandchildren. Peace, love and light to the entire English family.

Aunt Shirley you will always be in my heart as I remember my youth and the wonderful days filled with laughter when our families got together. Everytime I saw you there was a deep connection when our eyes would meet. I am so grateful to have known you and will love you forever. You enjoyed life and taught us all how to live it. Rest in God's arms with all our loved ones who have passed before us sweet girl.

Nanny, You will be deeply missed. It never seemes like enough time when a loved one passes on. As you move on to a better place, we mourn the loss of a sweet, accepting soul who was so important to so many. We celebrate that you will join Papa to watch over us all, and will hold on to the memories of life with you in it, close to our hearts. I will miss coming to visit you in your home(s) where your kitchen welcomed a steady stream of visitors, friends and family, for all of years I can remember. People loved being around you. I was one of them. I wish I could share 1 more cup of coffee with you in your kitchen. Until we meet again I will remember your sweet little laugh, your fashionable style, and spunk (but not worry because my mom will carry that spunk on for you). Much, much love - Your grand-daughter, Michelle

Our thoughts are with the family of Shirley, whom we got to know at Lake Dunmore's Kampersville Campground. Shirley's frequent visits to her daughter's family campsite on Looney Lane always were enjoyable. Her presence or her visits will always be remembered.

To the entire English family I read with sadness of the passing of your mother today. She was a special woman in my life, showing me kindness and acceptance when I needed it most. To the English family,
Kelly I'm deeply sorry for the loss of your Nana, I knew how much you loved her. I knew how much she meant to you. Every time you spoke of her you would glow. Now as she spreads her wings over you just feel her presence and continue to glow on all the love and memories.
Bella & Jacob I'm so sorry you won't have more time with your great Nana but your Mom will share all her memories of her with you and you can cherish that forever!
For the rest of the family please know this beautiful loving woman is now your angel from above and will now be at peace as she reunites her angel. Find peace in her comfort now.
Sending all love and prayers!
