Jane,
Wing-Man and I are saddened to learn of the sudden passing of your beloved mother and our dear friend Shirley.
Our sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Shirley has taught us that badminton is a game of strategy, not pure power, especially for seniors.
She is a role model for her unwavering enthusiasm and keen participation in the sport until the end of her life.

Jane, I was very sad when I heard of your mom's passing. I always have looked forward to meeting up with her at our national badminton tournament for chats and watching her play. She has always been an inspiration to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her good friend Jackie at this sad time in your lifves.
