My sincere condolences to Shirley's immediate and extended family. I was a co-worker at Brock University many years ago, but I still remember the laughter she inspired at Christmas luncheons, particularly when she and Mary Berg got up to mischief. She could tell stories with a straight face but a twinkle in her eye, stories that would have her audience roaring with laughter - how she made a huge Christmas dinner and afterward found the rolls still in the oven, how the new car "scolded" her ("The passenger door is open") when Clarence dropped her off in front of the Brock Tower. She was a kind and generous soul who gave the gift of smiles and laughter to the world.

At one point, I sang in Memorial Church choir with Shirley, Clare, Beverly and Crystaal. Those were good times with the sweetest people you would ever hope to meet. Please accept my sincerest sympathy.

Hi Wayne, Leslie, Denis, Elaine and Glen,
so sorry to hear of your mom's death. I have fond memories of her from childhood to now. She made the best meals ever. I always enjoyed our visits to their home. Calandar was my favourite place to go though as we could walk down to the lake, run in the forest and play for hours. Shirley had a quiet strength about her that I often admired. I know she will be missed by you all.

Sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Shirley Kallies. The last time I saw my Aunt Shirley was at a small gathering at her home where she shared memories of her childhood and her sisters. It was such a nice visit to be able to share memories. My mother Beverly and Shirley were close throughout the years and attended the same church where they both sang in the choir for years. I am comforted in knowing that she is now with her beloved sisters, her husband and her father and mother. They are probably entertaining the angels with their beautiful voices and rejoicing in being together again. Rest in peace Aunt Shirley. Love Shirley Flowers (Rod) (niece).

My heart goes out to the family. Mom shared many fond memories of Aunt Shirley and Aunt Olive over the years. I remember Mom and Aunt Shirley going to choir practice every Thursday evening at the church, Aunt Shirley coming down to our house after work so that she and Mom could go together. The three sisters are now reunited and celebrating every moment together. May you all find strength during this difficult time.
