Shirley Marsiglia

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley E Marsiglia (Shirl) on December 2, 2024 at the age of 90. Shirl was born on December 21, 1933. She was a native of Baltimore, but was currently living in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to her move to San Antonio, she resided in Centerville, MD. From 1975 until 2006 Shirl lived in Stevensville, MD. She and her husband, Phillip, lived in the Queen Anne Colony community where they had many friends. Shirl was an incredibly warm and loving woman who welcomed friends and family into their home, hosting numerous gatherings.

Shirl loved spending time with family, friends and her dogs, Max and Minnie. She loved gardening, reading, cooking, crocheting and traveling. She had a kind heart and didn't hesitate to rescue an animal in need. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Shirl is preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip C Marsiglia, her daughter, Corinne D Bowen, her grandson, Zachary T Paff and her sister, Betty J Corsi.

Shirl is survived by her children, Sherry R Lurie of San Antonio, TX, Phyllis A Strassner (David) of Baltimore, MD, Richard M Marsiglia of Baltimore, MD and Phillip L Marsiglia (Diane) of Phoenix, MD. Shirl leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 9 great grand children as well as nephew, Vincent Liberto (Nancy) of Severna Park, MD and several other loving nieces and nephews and goddaughter, Amy Fiedler-Dluhy, of Chester Spring, PA.
