Shirley "Sherry" McMillon

Mrs. McMillon was a huge inspiration in my life. When I was younger, I lived on the same street as she did in Wells. Both her and her husband took me in and called themselves my grandparents and was proud to be considered their "granddaughter". Mrs. Sherry even came to my birthday parties! Whenever they had my favorite meal, they'd call me over and I'd ride my bike to their house. I loved spending time with them and I really loved watching her make quilts. She was a wonderful person and I hate that I didn't keep in touch. Until we meet again ... I love you Mrs. Sherry!

Mrs. Sherry will truly be missed by all, but especially the fire dept. She was was a huge supporter of the Wells Fire Dept. We all loved Mrs. Sherry and we felt honored when she would drop by our meetings to visit & bring us homebaked treats. Mrs. Sherry you will truly be missed for there was no one finer than you!!!! God bless & give Clarence a big hug!!!!
