In Loving Memory

Shirley Jean (Angerer) Teed

November 11, 1941 - July 26, 2025

Shirley Jean Teed, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Maricopa, Arizona, on July 26, 2025. She was 83 years old.

Born on November 11, 1941, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Shirley grew up in Erie before relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, where she spent the last 46 years building a vibrant and loving life.

A proud and dedicated registered nurse, Shirley found great joy and purpose in her work as a visiting nurse, bringing care and compassion into the homes of countless patients over the years. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her career-she was always on the go, deeply involved in her community and many activities she cherished.

Shirley loved playing Mah Jong, Bingo, and the occasional slot machine at "The Fort." She was an avid reader and an active member of her book club, a devoted church choir member, and a generous volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Known for her honesty and unwavering moral compass, Shirley was "honest to a fault"-a woman who never got a speeding ticket and followed every rule with integrity and grace. Her strength of character and warm heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Cameron; her brother, Frances Angerer; her daughters, Suzanne Teed and Connie Gabriel; her son Brian Teed; her grandchildren: Vincent, Moni, Amanda, Joseph, Casey, Alexandra, William, Chandler, Alexa, Logan, and Ryder; and her great-granddaughter, Jade Estelle.

Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, Vincent Teed, her beloved son, Kevin Teed and her brother Richard Angerer.

Her legacy of kindness, laughter, loyalty, and love lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Im sorry to hear of Shirley´s passing! Norma is the only one in that photo still with us. My mother Betty Lee (Ann) Angerer Davis and Shirley were cousins. Mom was very happy to see all when she visited. My mother was a nurse as well! I´m sorry for the loss of another family member. Shirley was a sweetie. Prayers for all of you! Linda Davis-Kress
