Barely a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you! Today marks ten years - it flew so fast. Love you.

Sweet, dear, kind, caring, generous-to-a-fault Shirl … My very best “Phone Friend” … Best day was when Chrissy introduced us because she said she worked with a woman who was ‘wonderful, wild and wacky' and very nice to her. You were my phone therapist, rock buddy, missing-our-Moms-together buddy … just the best person. We trusted each other with our deepest thoughts … broke my heart the day you told me you were sick. I am so sorry you never made it home to your house and your bed … but I thank God you're now with your Mom in heaven. I'll never forget the afternoon of your GARDEN PARTY with friends, Jean-Louis, and us … It was so nice to spend the afternoon chatting face to face.

As your Mom's Mass card said …

I had the opportunity to know Shirley from the casting community in New York. She was a joy to work with, a very special person that made you feel comfortable and you wanted to be with.

To the Family of Shirley, she was a beautiful person to know growing up as one of my neighbors ,she will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Shirley was a very special person. our friendship goes back to high school. we had so many great times and I also visited her in new York. she was always a positive person who was so much fun. Shirley was my Holy Communion partner and friend throughout all our school days and in to our not so old age. I'll miss her laugh and her warm, kind heart. A wonderful person gone too soon. My Deepest Sympathy to her husband and family.
