There´s so many memories of Shirley over the years but I will never forget the road trip from WVa to Illinois and Indian. What a trip! Shirley loved and helped everyone she could all the time. Always a houseful of family and friends. It´s been a long time since I´ve seen her but I will never forget her and her genuine heart and smile. Love Always, Kelly Milam Briggs

When thinking of mother in laws, I can honestly say I had the best. She loved me unconditionally and showed so much grace and compassion. She has always made me laugh even when she didn´t feel like it and she loved her family with every fiber of her being. Rest in Peace Shirley, we will see you again! It´s not goodbye but see ya later! Bless your heart! I love you!

Miss Shirley was always so kind and encouraging to both Richard and I every time we were around her.
Her Facebook posts, which were always an encouragement, will truly be missed. She never missed an opportunity to give God praise and honor. My heart goes out to each one of her family. Praying for peace and comfort for all knew and loved her.

I never met you Shirley but I have known your daughter for many years. They say the apple don't fall far from the tree. Just like your daughter who is a special person you will be missed.

I honestly don´t k ow what to say except there is while in my heart. I know you are healed and in no more pain. But we sure are struggling to find the new normal without you. You were such a big part of our lives. You were the best mom anyone could ask for. I promise to honor you every day in what I do and say. I love you mom so much!! I cannot wait to see you in your healed body!
