As soon as I saw her beautiful smile in this photo, I thought about how wonderful a person she was, how giving. I called on Dr. Senthilnathan as a drug rep. She was always friendly and interested in knowledge and samples which would be useful for her patients. hope that it helps for her family to know that we still think about her and miss her...

I miss her very much! She was a wonderful person, doctor and friend. I will always remember her beautiful smile.

Three years later and I still mourn your loss. You were my doctor, my great doctor. You were also my friend.

To this day I miss Dr S. She was so compassionate with all her patients. She can never be replaced. Rest In Peace.

While I was just browsing to build the old friend's contacts to-day 9th October'15, I learned this unbelievable news. I only wish this is not true. I recall Dr. Shobana's kind gesture to my mum during her stay at Yeswanthpur, Bangalore, India.

It is hard to believe that Shobana akka is no longer in this world. We were extremely saddened to hear such a terrible loss. It was an honor to have known such a great person. We will truly miss Shobana akka and her kind words with warm big smile. I always heard through her sister and personally experienced a lot about her generosity, kind-heartedness, giving advice about the healthy eating habits and many more.

We have known Shobana's family from 1998 in Detroit. Our children were Pre-K buddies. When they moved to NC, we thought we lost a great friend. we moved to NC in 2000, but had lost touch with them. Our girls met again in a local class and were thrilled to have found each other. We were great family friends until we lost our daughter in 2007. During our loss, she was personally there by me making sure that we were taking it one day at a time and was a great support in all my efforts of dealing with my loss by starting a NGO. She lives on in a different way through all of our memories. She has left behind a couple of great and deep footprints of being Cheerful, Calm and Collected ; love and respect for family and friends.
We all will surely miss her soft spoken voice and seeing her warm smile....

Having just been informed, I am overwhelmed by the loss of a wonderful colleague. My deepest sympathies to you. Shobana continues to provide an exceptional standard for us all to strive toward. It is my honor and pleasure to have been graced by her thoughts and deeds.

Although this kind woman was my caring physician for less than 2 years, I was lucky to have know her and to have had her in my life. She will be deeply missed.

Shobana was our friend and doctor. We first met when our children were small and in martial arts together. Her simplicity and dedication to her profession stood out. She was a very caring person and was always willing to take the time to listen to any concerns. Her love for her family was evident and her face shone when she spoke about Mayuri's art and about Aditi driving the ambulance. It is hard to believe that she is no longer with us. Shob - when I think of her I see her smile. She gave her all in whatever she did - to Mayuri, Aditi and Senthil, to her extended family and to all of her patients.
She took such good care of my mom when she visited Shob after she fell ill. She broke the news of my mom's illness to me ever so gently, she counseled me, she guided me. After hearing all the comments by her patients I realize she made every one of them feel special just as she made me feel then.
Our kids always had a blast visiting their periamma's place for the summer or during the holidays. The kids adored her. She gave them the opportunity to bond with their cousins just as we did growing up.
I cannot make sense of why she had to leave us so soon but I will always remember her smile, I will cherish my memories of her, and I will celebrate her legacy.

I am shocked to discover the passing of such an amazing woman. She was my mom's doctor for many years and then mine for only a short time. She will be missed. I have never met a more caring dr and person in general. I know heaven was rejoicing the day she arrived. I'm so thankful to have had her in my life.

What an extraordinary person! I cannot believe, I will not hear her laughter, nor bear witness to her kind hearted administrations. Dr. Senthilnathan cared for my mother, father-in-law, husband, and also, me. She helped us through many difficult times, always with her sweet smile and encouraging words. Her legacy lives on in the kindness, patience, and empathy she demonstrated on a daily basis to all she met. Our lives were enriched because of her - wife, mother, physician, and friend. I am floored to learn of this amazing lady leaving this world way too soon. She was a ray of light ad will be remembered forever. Deepest sympathies to her family.

It feels like years although it has been only a few days. I miss being able to call Shob and spend hours talking to her. I wish she was still here to enjoy life with us- laughing, joking, teasing and doing everything under the sun. Be it her own kids or any of ours in the family, every little achievement was like a celebration for her and she rejoiced. Our kids fondly called her "rima" or sometimes "rims" for "perima".

Dr.Shobana is a relative for me, once when she was in India (a decade+ ago) on a car drive she was looking at the number of fastfood eatouts and the crowd, she was "yengalukku neraya velai irukku" (We have got lot of job here), that was kind of concern she had for ppl and it is heartening God has taken her before the job is done.

Shobana has been my MD for over 11 years. That is impressive in itself. She took very good care of me and my family. But what was amazing about Shobana was she literally remembered every person in my family by name (even the ones she never met) and remembered everything I ever told her about them in the 11 years I have known her. I have never met a doctor like her - and I have never met a person like her. She seriously was a incredible person. We honestly laughed at every single one of my visits. My condolences to the family of Dr. Senthilnathan. Dr. Senthilnathan was a very good doctor and a very kind woman. She would always ask about my family whenever I was in her office. When I became very ill in 2003, she would always take the time to visit me in the hospital. She is largely responsible for my quick recovery. She's the only doctor I've had since being in Apex and I can only hope to find another physician as caring as Dr. Senthilnathan. She will be greatly missed in this community.

Dr. Senthilnathan was certainly one of God's most special gifts and we are so saddened to hear of her passing. I visited her often over several years with both my mother and mother-in-law, who were her patients. She was an excellent physician, always very patient and kind. She took the time to speak of her daughters and her family. We enjoyed the special artwork in her office from her girls-- she was very proud of them and supportive of their humanitarian efforts. We spoke of family trips to India and of family coming here to visit...she had such a lovely disposition that although we sought medical care we always left with much more...her warmth and smile were quite contagious!
