DR. SHOU GEM LIN
Dr. Shou Gem Lin, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 12th at the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre (NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway) at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN, with Father Michael Hoffman officiating. Family and friends can meet with the family on Sunday afternoon, August 15, 2010 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Dr. Lin's name to St. Paul Catholic Church in Valparaiso. For information please visit www.GeisenFuneralHome.com or call 219-663-2500.

Dear Mrs Lin and Family, I deeply sorry to hear about your loss. I was reading the Northwest Indiana Catholic and saw his name. I worked with him when he was a general surgeon at Broadway Methodist. Our sympathy to the family of Dr. Lin. He was a wonderful Dr. His sense of humor and wonderful bedside manner will always come to mind when we think of him.

I am sad to hear of Dr. Lin's passing.He took care of my granddaughter.He was wonderful to work with and what a sense of humor.I heard you went fishing...

I am saddened to hear of Dr. Lin's passing. I fondly recall his sense of humor and wonderful demeanor. He was the doctor for my three grown children. My sincere condolences to his family.

I was very sorry to read of the passing of Dr. Lin. Not only was he a great doctor but he had a wonderful sense of humor also. I have truly missed him. My condolences to his familty.
