SIDNEY OLIVER EVERETT, born 3-20-45, went home to be with the Lord 11-24-04. He was born in Houston and educated at B.C. Elmore Jr.-Sr. High. Sidney was a truck driver and operated his own ice cream business. He was known throughout the northeast area as "Mr. Sidney - The Ice Cream Man". He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 38 years, Bernadine; 3 sons, Terence, Sidney, Jr., and Zachary; 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, 11-28-04, 6-9 pm, at Duncan Funeral Home. Viewing will be Monday, 11-29-04, 10-11 am and mass at 11 am at St. Francis of Assisi. Christian burial at Brookside Cemetery.

Per Wailand Jackson. I am so sorry that Sidney is no longer here with all of us. I once thought that Sidney and I were brothers because we favored in looks. Hopefully we will all be together again, eating ice cream and remembering Settegast and B.C.Elmore.
