On Friday, January 17, 2003, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Sylvia Kress; loving father of Lynn (Steven) Phillips, Paul (Paula) Kress and Steven (Cathy) Kress; devoted brother of Lawrence Kress, Dr. Sheldon (Rose) Kress and Rose (Leon) Markowitz; loving grandfather of Alyssa and Neil Kress, Brett and Dale Phillips and Timothy Kress. Funeral service at TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 254 Carroll St., N.W., Washington, DC, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by the Rabbinical Council of Washington) on Monday, January 20, 2003, 1 p.m. Interment Elesavetgrad Cemetery. Shiva at the residence of Paul Kress through Friday morning. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11331 Amherst Ave., Wheaton, MD 20902.
