I am so sorry to hear about Judge Smith. I had the privilege of being on the Brenau Board with him. He was a giant of a man and will be greatly missed by the Gainesville community and the Brenau community. My deepest sympathy to his family.

The epitome of US history made. We wish you were with us a little longer. But rest a little until the resurrection to life here on earth. Thanks for the years.

The Judge was my one of my "grandfathers" that was truly the best. I have many fond memories of spending my holidays at his house on Lake Lanier. Missing you Judge.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I did not know the "Judge" for a long period but Sidney became a good friend. We met at the therapy pool and enjoyed some good times together. Carolyn, may our God of compassion and love bring comfort and joy in the knowledge that he now rests in the loving arms of the Good Shepherd! Rest in Eternal Peace my friend!

Elise and I want to extend our sincere regrest in the death of Judge Smith. He was an outstanding man and certainly a gentleman in every way. He was always extremely nice to me and encouraging in what was best for our community and state. He was the same person every time I saw him and was someone I admired very much.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time. I am sorry we are out of town and want be able to come by and see you.
