SIM NELLON Obituary
Sim Grayson "Duke" Nellon departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the age of 66. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Loving father of Diane Lampkin, Crystal Antoine, Nicole Lampkin, and Donell Morgan. Son of the late Williams Nellon, Sr., and Jessie Lee Jordan Nellon. Beloved brother of William Nellon, Jr., James R. Nellon, Adam T. Nellon, Jessie Mae Jackson, Francis Nellon, Renee Nellon Williams, and the late Ray Charles Nellon, Louis C. Nellon and Vanessa M. Nellon. Sim is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service at the parlor.
