SIMEON BOOKER
A memorial service for civil rights journalism pioneer Simeon Booker, who died December 10, 2017 at age 99, will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Washington National Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Simeon Booker Scholarship at the Youngstown State University Foundation will be matched by the Foundation, to which checks should be payable, at 655 Wick Ave., Youngstown, OH 44502.
