Simma was a gifted writer. She was dedicated to the people she served as a Member of Parliament. One always knew that Simma would follow up on any request for information. She was committed to public service, and true to her beliefs, steadfast in her pursuit of fairness and kindness in both her political life and personal life. She has been missed for many years on the political scene. May she be at peace now in her heavenly home with those she held dear. Well done Simma - with much love, Grace & Ray McCarthy

I had great admiration for Simma. Her intelligence, her courage and her concern for the disadvantaged. She was a great lady and I'll really miss her.

My sincere condolences to the family. My aunt and mother, Knies girls, watched and admired her career as a girl from Vegreville.
