My heart goes out to you, Susan. Over the past two-and-a-half years, you and your sons helped Simon gain some precious moments. Thanks to your tireless care, Simon got to spend time with those he loved most.

I had the honor to meet Simon only once but some people leave an impact that lasts a lifetime. I was pleased when Linda asked me to drive her to visit Simon on my Harley.Simon was so surprised and happy to see Linda show up for his visit on a HOG.I had the chance to spend the morning with him talking bikes and he was in 7th heaven.
I can only aspire to be such a free spirit as Simon he gave me the impression of a man who lived his life on his terms. With much respect I pay homage to a fallen rider

Simon was a man who inspired free thinking, passion and energy. Just being around him made me feel that I could do more and be more. Even though I was his home-care nurse and was supposed to be looking after him, he gave me more than I ever gave him. I will miss him very much! One day when he was feeling a little down I asked Bernie to drive me to visit him on the Harley just to cheer him up. Imagine his surprise when his nurse arrived on a beautiful white 2009 Custom Harley Davidson motorcycle. We drove the bike to the funeral also and in the procession to the cemetery. We will always remember Simon, when we ride the bike and when we hear the song: Born to be Wild!

You are not alone today
Nor will you be tomorrow
For warmest thoughts of those who care
Are with you in your sorrow
And may it comfort you to know
Your loved ones are thought of too
By everyone who shares the loss
Of one so dear to you

Dear Susan,
Simon was blessed to have such a wonderful wife by his side and he sure knew it. He knew you were there for him no matter what. I admire your devotion and love.
Dear Simon,
I will miss your sense of humour and your energy. It was always entertaining to be around you. François and I will remember for sure a couple of your line. And who would not miss to have a great construction guy next door??

Big Hugs.
Avec toute mon amitié
A très bientôt

Susan:
There is no word to express my deepest sympathy for the lost of your lover, best friend and husband Simon. I will deeply miss his laugh, ride on my Harley with both and of course his talent in renovation. I have a lot in my house to reminiscing him.... you surely know... you were there too!!

Susan:
Both Ken and I are extremely sorry for your loss of Simon. The couple of times that we met both yourself and Simon we felt an immediate connection. It was so obvious to the two of us how much in Love you and Simon were. We know that it is your Love for him that kept him fighting for as long as he did. He will now watch over you and protect you. Please take care of yourself. (Ken and Tina Koffman)
