McHENRY - Simon Petto, 67, of McHenry, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.
He was born on Jan. 26, 1938, in Yugoslavia to Josef and Klara Tschaudt. He married Maria Eberle on Oct. 22, 1960 in Chicago.
He was employed for more than 26 years at Leisure Village in Fox Lake.
He was a member of the German American Club on Antioch.
Survivors include his parents; his wife; a son, Eric (Tami) Petto; a daughter, Monica (Alan) Feltes; grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Kevin, Trenton; and a brother, Joseph Petto.
The visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5 at Windridge Funeral Home, 104 High Road, Cary.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park.
Memorials may be to the American Cancer Society.
