Hi Simon: Danny gave me your address, so I finally get to talk to you. I am not able to go to California yet, but whenever I do, I will visit you. Hey, thank you for being in my life for so many years. You are still my best best friend ever. I wish I could take better care of you. I still have the urge to call you. I feel you are with us all the time. I am sure you will be with us for our family reunion trip. I had you in mind the most when we made the plan. I just learned to use your camera and will bring it along.

Personally, I want to thank you for taking care of Mom for all of these years, ever since you moved to L.A. from Virginia, you took over the responsibility from our hand, your gentleness, kindness, and loving caring personality all appeared on the last couple years of Mom's life, and we are so grateful to have a brother like you in our life.

Goodbye, my dearest friend of half a century. May we be reacquainted in our next lives.

Thank you for touching my life in such a special way. Some of my fondest memories as a child were with you, Miranda, and mimi in Virginia. Your kindness, good spirit, and love always made me look forward to my next visit. The long talks we've had over the years still mean so much to me. I am grateful I had the opportunity to spend time with you and Alina in Hawaii. You have always felt like a good friend, and were an amazing and caring uncle. I love and miss you very much.

Dear Uncle Simon,

You have been in my thoughts a lot. When I think of you, I remember how you always took the extra time to talk to the kids individually to find out what we have been up to.

When I visited CA, we would walk to the store together from grandma's house to buy bubble teas and just chit chat. Also, you would always run out to the store and buy beef jerky for me during my visit because you remembered that I love eating the fruity beef jerky. I also remember you making chocolate milk for me when I was really little and we were all at Uncle Jimmy's house. Anyway, I have a lot of really fond memories of you.

I love you very much and you are here with us always.

Thank you all for your warm thoughts. My brother Simon is now rest in peace and his spirit lives on forever in our hearts.

Unfortunately we cannot spend more time with Simon anymore. He was always been so kind and warmhearted. He's good spirit is still living with us inspiring us to be as wonderful as he was.
