I cannot believe that it has been 2 years since you went home to God and Good Ste. Anne. Your work on the Pilgrimage, your love and friendship will never be forgotten. It is very ironic that 2017 was also the year the the Pilgrimage was retired after 95 consecutive years - of which you were such a big part.
May you continue to rest in peace - and please give my love to the entire Pilgrimage family that are in Heaven with you.

I and the Andrew J. Ahearn Memorial Pilgrimage family offer our deepest, sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to the entire Sarmiento Family on the death of Sofia. Sofia was a tremendous AIDE and volunteer each year on our July Pilgrimage to Ste. Anne's in Canada. She was a long time member of the Ahearn Pilgrimage Family. Sofia was the salt of the earth. She joins all of our Pilgrimage Family Members who have gone before her and are sitting in the presence of Ste. Anne Herself. May she rest in peace.
