Sondra Crusha

Sondra Crusha, 85, died after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease peacefully at home surrounded by her family in La Quinta, California. She was born in Osborne, Kansas, the only child of Laverne Green and Mildred Cox Green.

Sondra graduated from Osborne High School and went on to attend secretarial school at Hays State. After college, she moved to California and married Darrell Crusha in 1963. Sondra and Darrell had two daughters, Desiree Crusha Coulson (Scott Coulson) and Sheri Crusha Gilbert.

Sondra loved all things musical, including singing, playing the guitar and piano, as well as dancing. Her two granddaughters held a special place in her heart. Sondra was a woman of great faith and was very active in her church.

Sondra was predeceased by her father Laverne Green, mother Mildred Cox Green, and husband Darrell Crusha. She is survived by her daughter Desiree Coulson, Son-in-Law Scott Coulson, Granddaughter Allison Becerra, Grandson-in-Law Anastacio Becerra, daughter Sheri Crusha Gilbert, and Granddaughter Christine Lenore Gilbert. Sondra's boundless joy for life, God, her family and friends will be honored and cherished by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
