Sondra (Dian) Hornell

Sondra Dian Hornell, also known as Dian, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023, at the age of 82. She was born on November 5, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Earl Willis and Myrtie Mae Willis.

Dian was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Vernon Hornell. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around their family. Dian was a caring and nurturing mother to her children Tammy Beck (and husband David), Roni Campoli (and husband Michael), and Art Hornell (and wife Lisa). She took great pride in her role as a grandmother to 10 grandchildren and great grandmother to 6 great grandchildren. Dian's family meant the world to her, and she always made sure to create lasting memories with them. She is also survived by her brothers Gary Willis (and wife Peggy), and Wesley Willis.

In her free time, Dian enjoyed various activities that brought her joy. She had a passion for golf, fishing, and playing cards. Dian's competitive spirit and love for these activities made them more special to her. She found great happiness in spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed making memories with them all.

Dian's warm smile and kindhearted nature will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may her memory be a source of strength for her loved ones during this difficult time.

In honor of Dian's memory, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Alzheimer's Foundation. These organizations hold a special place in their hearts, as they recognize the importance of supporting and finding a cure for this devasting disease.

At this time, Celebration of Life plans are to be determined.
