I miss the fun, friendship we shared at Round Dancing & Merri Misfits. Sonja was a kind, warm, thoughtful friend. We shared so much together. Miss her even though the last few years we were miles apart. Memories last a long, long time.

So sorry for your loss. We both belonged to the Red Hat and danced with Sonja for years. She was a lovely dancer. Sonja always had a smile on her face.

Dear Edna and Fred, I am shocked and saddened to learn of your great loss. I reconnected with Sonja over 10 years ago, and we shared some fun times together. The last time we saw each other was at a family visit to a relative's home 3 years ago in Victoria. Lovely personality with always a warm smile. My sincere sympathy to you and her family.

Dear Family of our Cousin and Friend, Sonja:
We will cherish the visits and good times we shared at the farmhouse that Sonja loved to visit.
Her zest for life, her talent to dance, her choice of beautiful dancing dresses, her hats showed her wonderful sense of personality, creativity and beauty.
Sonja was outgoing and lived from her heart. We will miss her generous spirit.
Forever Remembered!
Your loving Cousins, Caroline, Leona, Leslie, Everette,
Sandra and Bob.

Edna and Fred, Sonja loved dancing, whether it was pattern, international, round, ballroom or of course line dancing. I think she really enjoyed her trip to Las Vegas this fall to the Line Dance Explosion with the girls from our class. She was a brave lady finding her way to her hotel alone in Vegas. She bought a funky dress at Ross's that really suited her.(lots of fringes) I will, we all will miss her at line dancing. I'm sorry but I'm in Texas for another month so will not be able to attend her funeral. Know that I will honour her with one of her favourite line dances at my first class back. It is called Butterflies and the song she loved to dance it to is Mariposa Tracionera. My deepest condolences to you and to her children.
