Sonny Herman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 9, 2018.
Sonny Herman, 45, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all, died June 6th, 2018. Sonny was born in Park Ridge, IL July 4th, 1972. He attended St. Tarcissus Grammar School, East Leyden High School, and graduated from Northern Illinois University where he was an active member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Sonny worked at Hussmann Refrigeration as a highly respected financial controller and friend for 22 years.

Sonny will be remembered for his kind heart, love of his children, and extraordinary sense of humor. He was very supportive and actively involved in all of his children's hobbies and sports. He never missed a game of Football, Lacrosse, soccer, or baseball, and always could be heard cheering them on. He was an avid sports fan to many teams, but will always be remembered for his loyalty to the Chicago Cubs. Sonny loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, sporting events, and spending time with family.

Sonny leaves behind his wife Agnieszka, and three beautiful children Kayla, 15, Cameron, 13, and Gianna, 7. He is survived by his parents Clarence and Donna (Larsen) Herman; sisters Michelle (Ken Pautz) Herman, Georgia (Noah) Chapman, and brother Jim (Crystal) Herman. Well known as the "funny" uncle, he leaves behind Amber Baumgart, Theresa Gallo, Sara Beth Chapman, Kenny Pautz, & Lilianna Pautz. He was also a very special Godfather to Amber, Kenny, and Liliana.
