Justin "Peanut" Cathey

Justin “Peanut” Cathey, 43, of San Angelo, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in Odessa.  Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2017 at Brown Ranch Cemetery.  The funeral procession will leave Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, at 10:15 a.m.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

 

Justin Lee Cathey was born July 16, 1974 to Terry and Nancy Fletcher Cathey.  He grew up and attended school in Levelland and Brownfield.  Justin was a field supervisor for Universal Pressure Pumping in Midland.  Justin was family oriented and loved his children dearly.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles with family and friends.  Justin was baptized in the Church of Christ.

 

Survivors include his children, Keeley Cathey of Baird; Braxton Cathey and Brayden Cathey, both of Merkel; his parents, Terry and Nancy Cathey of San Angelo; two brothers, Patrick Cathey and Corey Cathey, both of San Angelo; a niece, Marissa Rodgers of Minot, North Dakota; two nephews, Hunter Cathey and Wyatt Cathey, both of San Angelo and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Robbie Briscoe and J.C. and Mavis Cathey.

 

Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home.
