Sonya Frazier (Kirkpatrick), aged 62, passed away on August 18, 2024, in Trenton, NJ. Born on May 11, 1962, in Buford, GA, she was a wonderful mom, sister and friend who was known for her spunky personality and loving nature.

Sonya graduated from North Gwinnett High School in 1980 and spent many joyful years in Hamilton, NJ, where she lived with her daughter Stephanie and her family. Described as a wonderful mother and a fierce competitor, Sonya had a profound love for gardening, the Georgia Bulldogs, and classic rock music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beautiful daughter, Stephanie.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Rioja (Jonathan); son, Bob Frazier Jr.; stepchildren, Jonathan Rioja and Samantha Rioja; father, James Kirkpatrick (Liz); sisters, Sherrie Reimherr (Michael), Shawn Long (Kelly), Shelley Brown (Steve), Scarlett Segura (Rusty), Sandie Monte-Brackin (Josh), and Stacie McGowan; nieces and nephews, Derek Reimherr (Maggie), Teri Hulsey, Katie Long, Kenzie Long, Tyler Moon (Ashlyn), Garrett Raxter, Thad Segura, Tessie Segura, Tara Segura, Ty Segura, Ember Monte, Ash Monte, Ivie Brackin, and Lily McGowan; as well as aunts and uncles, Gayl and Billy Kirkpatrick, Connie and Vic Kirkpatrick, and Janice Etheridge. She also leaves behind several great nieces and nephews and many first cousins.

Sonya was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glendon and Margaret Kirkpatrick; niece, Tiffany Hulsey; and grandparents, Floyd and Minnie Etheridge, along with several aunts and uncles on the Etheridge side.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 1, 2024, for family and close friends, honoring Sonya in a manner she would have wished. The family extends their gratitude for the love and support received during this time.
