My belated sincere condolences to the entire Hein family on your loss. I just found the obituary this weekend as skimming through some old unread papers. Checking with my brothers and sisters i found that no one knew of her passing. Sallie was a sister in law to my mother Catherine Hein Raftery. Growing up I remember Sallie was into window dressing/draperies. She made them for my first house in the 1970's. She loved bunko parties that my mom's group held playing monthly at our childhood house where us kids would act as waiters serving coffee, tea, pop and filling in as players while the adults took potty breaks. Later in life, I recall Sallie and Catherine hooking up many times to play bingo at the old St Rita hall on Claremont Ave. Sallie was a fun loving gambler, talking of her bus trips to the different casinos when the family would see her at the yearly picnic gathering of the Woods, Prohaska, Hein,Raftery, and Cahill clan in Orland Park. It is sad how we slowly drift apart and lose touch we each other. Now a days its Facebook postings but we don't talk and suddenly some one drops out of the loop. I hope we can one day reconnect together as a family. My prayers and thought are with you.
