Spencer Adams Obituary
He was a retired electric motor repair man, and was self-employed for thirty years. He was a member of the Norwalk Stamp Club and Old Kings Highway Stamp Club. He was also a veteran of the US Navy having served in World War II.
He is survived by two sons, Spencer E. Adams, Jr. of Hamden, CT; and Brien C. Adams of Stamford; two daughters, Heather A. Sypniewski of Stamford; and Diane F. Byrne of Mechanicsburg, PA; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Frances O'Brien Adams; and a brother, Maynard Adams.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Monday, October 9, 2006 from 2:00 Ð 4:00 PM and 6:00 Ð 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gary Mammana officiating. Interment will be private.
