Aw, Mr. Quinn. My husband and I are so sorry you are no longer with us. We never met you, but we adored your Chet and Bernie books, and quote from them frequently. So you are immortal: your words and your clever, clever work will live forever. PS: Our relationship with you is "Big Fans."

What an incredible person! We met Spencer on the pool deck and from each day forward it was always so much fun officiating with him, conversing with him, reminiscing with him, talking about our family and friends, and cheering our own children, as well as, every other swimmer in the pool on. He will be greatly missed.

Deepest sympathy and condolences to the Quinn family. My oldest daughter enjoyed having him as a swim coach last year, and as a parent, I appreciated how he would try to impart life lessons and a sense of perspective (always delivered with warmth) at every practice and with every email communication. He was truly one-of-a-kind, and will be missed.

Spencer was a constant source of fun, laughter, silliness and overall calmness on the side of a sometimes very intense soccer sideline. Phil, Tally and I are so much better having known him. A bright light has definitely left this sometimes very dark world - and he will be so missed. Jo-Anne, Casey, and Erin - sending you our love and prayers!

"Life of the party" doesn't begin to describe Spencer. I worked with Spencer for a few years at EDS, he taught me to love the movie CaddyShack even before I saw it, because he could quote (and often did) almost all of the dialogue! I still use some of those quotes and always credit Spencer. What a great guy and what a tremendous loss for all of us. Much love to Jo-Anne and the family.
