Sr. Barbara Craig

I met Barbara in 1995; we both participated in an NEH Institute that focused on Latin American literature. Knowing her all of these years brightened my life. Peace to you, Shamanita.

I will remember Sister Barbara as a friend, and teacher who embraced me as a new Zen priest and always encouraged me. Her light will continue to shine. I will miss her dearly - Rev. Kyoji Freeman

I had the pleasure of getting to know Sister Barb when I worked an aide. Always pleasant and a smile on her face. I’m deeply saddened of her passing. But I know she’s home with the lord and not suffering no more. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Our condolences to Sr. Barbara’s family, Sr. Constance and all who loved her. Our friendship began at early Peace Center meetings and prison ministry. Sr. Barbara embodied peacemaking and Social Justice. Sr. Barbara inspired.
