I got to know Sr. Joan as a swimmer at the Jewish Community Center where we took classes together. Around 1975 we began going to Windmill Quarry in the summer and that soon developed into a swimming and picnicking group. There were five of us (Dianne, Sam, Joan B, Molly and me), and we kept seeing one another, sharing meals, and stories of our lives, over the next 40 years. She was a good story teller and a great mimic, loved her cat Graycliff, and she had a wonderful and blessed life. With great love, Bob.

Sister Joan-you will be missed by so many people-you are a dear friend who will not be forgotten and I'm sure there are loads of cats in heaven to greet you and now you can watch over Greycliff.

God is greater than our hearts and knows all things. So, He can bring peace and comfort to your heart. He's a loving and caring God. 1Jon 3:19-20
