Stacey Lee Hurden, aged 46, passed away on August 29, 2024, in Hazlet, NJ. Born on January 6, 1978, in Red Bank, NJ, she was a cherished member of her community and a loving mother, daughter, and sister.

Stacey graduated from Long Branch High School class of 1996. She was employed by Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch as an administrative assistant, and also worked as a server at Tuzzio's Italian Restaurant, Long Branch and Woody's Ocean Grille, Tinton Falls.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Hurden (née Lehman); sister, Tara Thompson (Ron); and her daughters, Chloe and Lilly Vafiadis. Stacey was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Hurden, her partner, Joseph Vafiadis and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Stacey attended Searchlight Church, Long Branch. She lived life to its fullest and was a free spirit. She derived her most joy from spending quality time with her daughters, family, and numerous friends. She loved any beach, late night car rides, trips to Atlantic City, ice skating with her girls, crafting, and dancing. Her adventurous spirit, kind heart, and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at Damiano's Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a Go-Fund-Me page set up for the care of Stacey's children at https://gofund.me/f754c7b7.
