Escondido, CA

It is with great sadness that her family announces the

death of Stacy L. Edwards on October 10, 2024, in Poway,

California. Stacy was born on April 21, 1962, in Kansas

City, Missouri, and moved to San Diego in 1973. She

graduated from Madison High School in Clairemont in

1979 and Thomas Jefferson Law School in 1995. Stacy

was admitted to the California Bar in 1995 and went into

practice with her mother in Escondido.

Stacy was an avid animal lover, usually having a couple

of dogs and often a cat, rat, or guinea pig, and enjoyed

traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Mackenzie Edwards;

mother, Karen Black; three siblings, Doug Edwards,

Christie Lambert (Gunther), and Brad Edwards (Sheryl), and many nieces

and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12pm on November

9 at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.

I was saddened to hear of Stacy´s passing, of her life that was too short. I met Stacy when she was about 24: cute, intelligent, fun-loving. As I recall, she wasn´t sure what she was going to do with her life, but the possibilities seemed endless. She loved her family, had a sense of adventure and a sense of humor - all great attributes for an attractive young woman. We shared some fun times and I just enjoyed being her friend. May you rest in Heaven, Stacy.
