Linda & Childre:

I only learned yesterday of Stan's passing when calling to talk with him. We had talked about 4-5 weeks ago. He always expressed love for his family. Sadly, I did not find the time to be a part of your lives however I grew up with Stan and we were best friends from 7th grade thru Junior College in Arkansas City. He was and will always be remembered as my "best friend".

My condolences to your family and especially Betty as she was always my favorite Mother.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I am so lucky to have spent some time with Stan on Saturday at the show. He was so happy. He talked about the boer goats and the new buck he was so proud of. We talked for quite a while about the dwarfs breedings he had made and the colors that he was raising. I told him we had finally got Summer, the quarter horse mare that he raised and sold to us bred. We are so excited about that baby and I know that he was excited for us. I am happy to have had this time with him, but heartbroken just the same. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you every day. He will be missed by many.

To the Pulliam family: Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. We were only privileged to meet Stan last year. But I know that everyone in the rabbit world will miss him dearly. He was a kind man who showed dignity even in difficult situations. My son and I really appreciated him as a rabbit judge. He taught us well by his example. We pray that God will provide peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I remember visiting my aunt Betty and Uncle Lenard one summer in Haysville on Ida street playing basketball with my twin brother on a goal nailed to the barn. When a young man with piercing eyes walked up and grabbed the ball and proceeded to tell us on how basketball was about focus and concentration , I never met a man who could apply these traits as easily as my cousin (JR. COLLEGE ALL AMERICAN BASKETBALL PLAYER) STAN PULLIAM)

To the Pulliam Family,

It was my honor and priviledge to have the opportunity to coach with Stan at Campus High School. It was during my coaching time with Stan that some of my greatest events in my own life happened (marrying my wife , my oldest son being born and many basketball victories). I can't describe the many things I learned from Stan on the court and bench. He was the quickest person to be able break down teams and prepare his team for a game that I have ever seen. More than that though he was a wonderful mentor and friend. My heart goes out to all of you and I know that God now has a great Varsity basketball coach for his team now. Thank you so much for the opportunity to have him enrich my life.

Memories of Stan include a respectful man with a friendly and approachable presence at the rabbit show tables. It was a pleasure clerking for him as he judged the Dwarfs. We also shared an interest in helping the youth gain confidence and to be all they could be. May his spirit live on forever.

God Bless your family,

Dear Linda, Christy, Kip, Robin, & Dusty
And Betty, Sheryl, & Sandy…

On behalf of the Rev. Richard and Ferne Bowersox Family I would like to extend our heart felt sorrow for your loss. Our family has many fond memories of visits to the family homes on S. Ida. Hospitality and kindness were always extended to us... the visit was never complete without a tour of the barnyard and Stan’s latest prized animals and plant life.

Now he rests knowing he has left behind a family that will love him always. He has a legacy of family, friends, students, and athletes of whom we can all be proud of and grateful to him forever. Stan’s life was a blessing to many.

Our thoughts, prayers, and tears are with you,
God Bless and comfort you all,

I have known the Pulliam family for many years. I grew up next to two of them. Leonard and Betty and Jim and Edith. I was a little girl then. I did'nt know the kids back then because they were older then me. But as an a adult I learned that the old neighborhood was interesting. Stanley Pullium grew up caddy across the street from my folks. We all would come about. Years later we bought a dog from Stan. He and his wife lived across the way from my folkks and it was natural to trust them. Love those people and love their kids. Robin babysat our children and all the kids were great. Linda you've done a great job. You and Stan are wonderful parents and grand-parents. I'm thankful to have known you. Stanley Pulliam was the guy across the street from my Mom and Dad. He raised dogs and pigions. Growing up he was not anybody. But later on he became my neighbor, brother, cousin, and a good neighbor. His daughter Robin babysit for our daughter's Shannon and Lindsey Spain. We had one of his cocker spaniel's named Blonde who had litter of puppies. Molly was a product of that litter. She will always be remembered. Stanley and Linda are always in my prayers along with the children. Old good neighbors are hard to replace. I Love You The Pulliam Family........

Dear Linda and family,
It's so hard to find the right words to tell you how much Stan meant to us as a family. We first came to look at rabbits in 1985. His knowledge, patience, and willingness to teach was really important to us. I loved taking comments for him and watching his smile when he found a really good rabbit.
The picnics at your houses were a special treat. Stan was more relaxed and himself there than at any other time. Linda, your hospitality at these annual parties is so appreciated! Thank you for sharing your lives and homes with us through the years.
May God and the love of family and friends give you peace.

Although I didn't know Stan well, he was one of my mother's closest friends. She always spoke highly of him, relied upon his advice and counsel and enjoyed the company of both Stan and Linda. Stan was an excellent judge, fellow rabbit breeder, who produced some
very awsome rabbits that were sought out by alot of breeders and rabbit
buyers. He will be sadly missed by all of us here in Kansas and every
where else.He was a friend and a close neighbor of ours, living only 3
miles from us and where our daughter has bought mini rex and netherland
dwarfs from him from time to time. He will always be here in our hearts

Linda and Family,
Our hearts go out to you in this time of grief. Coach was a great man and taught me life lessons well learned. I still see that wry smile, like he was the only one who knew what was going on, which was usually the case. I knew he was really into the breeding and showing of his rabbits but reading many of the posts in here show that he had a positive influence in so many more lives than I could have known. God bless and comfort,

Friends and relatives:
I taught school with Stan several years and visited with him about every morning before school. In my opinion he was a very honorable person and his relatives and friends should be proud of him. He did his job well and tried his best. Helped on some of his projects and also hauled away a lot of his rabbit manure for my tomato plants.
Sorry to hear of his passing.
